About me

I am trained as a Mechanical Engineer and I have been working in the engineering sector in different roles and industries. However, I have always had a great interest in sculpture and 3D constructions.

Having attended several creative design short courses, I decided to jump into the ‘non-practical’ design life. I have just graduated from a MFA in Jewellery in Edinburgh College of Art, where I have been developing my personal ‘language’.

My main subject of interest is man-made objects and how they can be taken away from their inert manufactured state. This interest comes from a deep rooted materialist belief in the sense that I think every ordinary item could be a potential precious object. My design process relies in the use of a variety of material combinations and emerging digital technologies together with hand fabrication and crafting.
