Additional experimentation after the first year final hand in...

The plastic objects that I produced during the first year have some kind of resemblance to porcelain. There is something about ceramics that I love, however, I find it a difficult and fragile medium..Will it be possible to fake it with plastics? I am not sure about the plain white of the plastics, also I want to add some value and strength to it in the form of metal...From these thoughts, I started to develop the plastic samples in a new direction:

 

I like the effect of the blue print on white and the combination with gold..

Summarizing my first year of MFA in ECA

After lots of experimentation and not much focus during my first year at the ECA, finally I think managed to narrow down the options to some form of plastics and miscellaneous objects...

I see the potential in these objects, however, I believe they are far away from final professional pieces....I feel a bit frustrated I didn't manage to produce some form of more accomplished pieces..
